[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 588115] [NEW] Horizontal noisy lines on external monitor with ATI Radeon RS690M

2010-05-31 Thread ItFinallyWorks
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xorg

On ubuntu 10.04, my external monitor has noisy horizontal lines on
everything on an external monitor. The line rapidly and constantly
change are across the entire screen. The laptop's screen looks fine,
but the external monitor has these lines. This problem only began in
Ubuntu 10.04 - I last ran 9.10 and everything was fine. Its a little
hard to see on the screenshot because it changes rapidly, but it do give
some idea.

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 300935] Re: missing /etc/X11/rgb.txt file and broken link to it

2009-08-28 Thread ItFinallyWorks
Also causes Octave/Gnuplot under Xrdp to produce mostly black plots and
multiple of the error gnuplot: unable to parse 'color'. Using black.
The fix is to copy or symlink rgb.txt to /usr/share/X11/rgb.txt See:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/420753.
