Turns out this is a XORG issue. Fixed it by creating a file called 50-plantronics.conf in /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d with the following content: Section InputClass Identifier Plantronics MatchVendor Plantronics Option Ignore true EndSection This gets X to ignore the Plantronics device, which makes the mouse problem go away. Unfortunatly this also seem to stop the MIC from working so I need to figure ouy how to get that better. Thanks Jevonearth, was just about to test the newer kernel, now I don't have to. Could a guru script something up that can detect state change and run that command as needed?
