I saw the same thing on one of my desktop machine. Just a few different : No remains of windows but sometimes a windows refuses to close then mouse cursor slows down then, after some 10~12sec, all freezes. The dash usually opens but sometimes, have to open some other windows in front of it. [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1318946] Re: No comeback from sleep
Same thing on a customer's machine with an AMD athlong 64 X2 4000+ and a 8400gt. It's using proprietary driver. Strange thing : If I change ACPI Suspend Type from S1&S3 to S1(POS), then it goes to sleep (with a strange signal to monitor) then comes back without problem. Maybe it's a kernel problem. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1318946 Title: No comeback from sleep To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1318946/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1318946] [NEW] No comeback from sleep
