[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 878610] [NEW] Auto Monitor Detect No Longer Functional
Public bug reported: Not positive that this is in utils but couldn't think of what package would cause the issue. Basically before if I plugged in my tv through the HDMI port after Ubuntu was fully on, it'd auto detect the monitor, turn off my laptop monitor and turn on the tv with the display set at the appropriate configuration. Now if I plug in my tv after Ubuntu is booted my laptop monitor turns off but the tv doesn't get turned on so I have no monitor at all. If I plug in the tv before turning on the computer then Ubuntu boots fine (tv on, laptop monitor off). xrandr produces this when I try to manually set up output after plugging in tv xrandr: cannot find crtc for output LVDS1 LVDS1 is my laptop monitor.
