[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1026046] Re: Missing support for thumb resting on bottom of clickpad
A workaround is to use the mtrack driver if it supports your touchpad driver. Install xserver-xorg-input-mtrack, then create a file in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-mtrack.conf like the following: http://pastebin.com/WvZmKwMV Of course, this isn't ideal as you have to use gestures for things like right-click, and doesn't work with unity autohide, but solves the problem of finger resting. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-input-synaptics in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1026046 Title: Missing support for thumb resting on bottom of clickpad To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/xserver-xorg-input-synaptics/+bug/1026046/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 612312] [NEW] System Freeze at Startup on Eee Pc 1001HA
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg The system freezes just after the system has loaded, the dots all fully coloured (just before the login screen is shown). If the splash is off, it freezes just after 'setting sensors limits', although this has nothing to do with the problem, as even with lm-sensors removed it still freezes at this time.
