Update no2 Funny stuff, I deleted xfce4-power-manager, reboot, and put my laptop in sleep mode. After it wake up, desktop shown up (without entering password) and my mouse cursor disappeard!? [UPDATE] ok so i tested ubuntu and lubuntu (both 14.04 LTS) and the sleeping/resuming works perfectly, but in Xubuntu 14.04 i still have black screen after wake up from sleep mode. Maybe someone can tell where are differences between these three distros? ok, so i found this "temporarly fix". When you are using laptop, first lock your screen and then close lid to sleep mode. After you open lid system will work ok, but notifications area will show: "Power Manager not authorized".
