Public bug reported: Using nvida-current drivers the GeForce 6200 opengl performance is insanely slow. glxgears gives around 2-3 fps. I've tried the open source drivers and they only give 120 fps. GeForce 6200 and 3D is still very, very, very slow. Not usable at all. Top menu bar and side task bar still do not show up. Stuck in 2D at the present time. Updates are up to date. With the new driver it seems to be faster but I still have no top menu bar and no side Unity bar. I'm still out of luck here. I can starup in 3D, my desktop icons show up but no top menu or launcher bar. Stuck in 2D.
