OK, I have moved to 11.04. Amarok seems working fine now and all windows
are dockable, however I am using ATI's binary driver 11.5 released on
2011-05-09. I do not know how it would behave with drivers provided by
ubuntu.
In my opinion this bug can be closed. Thanks.

No, I am still on Ubuntu 10.10

Yes, I am. I will try to update one of my machines, and then I will run
apport to collect required informations.

I do not know how to add several files in one step - seems not intuitive
enough. So I added another log in other comment.

Here, have fun. It shows segfault in /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old on line
826.

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 409255] Re: amdcccle crashed with SIGSEGV in xcb_writev()

2010-05-07 Thread LeadMan
Hi Bryce,
I just have tested amdcccle run from terminal to see output. Started fine, i
have changed all options except of screen resolution, because I was too lazy
this time and didn't want to restart - I really miss Ctrl+Alt+Backspace
functionality :(
All options worked OK and none of them resulted in any error on the terminal. I
will seek for any unwanted results/errors for next 3 days, and if everything
looks fine, I will change my settings to "This bug does not affect me". Looks
for me, like this bug can be closed.

Regards, LeadMan

Just my 2 cents, runing
# amdcccle
gives errors as in attachment and segfault. It is always reproducible. If you
guys need strace / ltrace or anything alse, let me know.
