[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 451903] Re: Must hold down Enter to boot Karmic
*** The system keeps crashing while I'm filling out the bug description or submitting the bug report, so I'll be post the bug description below *** When booting the harddrive stops loading data after displaying the Usplash. If I hit Enter one time the harddrive starts loading again for about a second or so, and then stops again. If I hold down the Enter key constantly, the system will boot successfully. Whenever the cursor is visible during the boot sequence, I can type in text (as in the console), but then the boot won't continue. I should mention that booting the live CD works just fine. I hope this explains what I'm experiencing. //MadsRH madsrh(a)gmail.com -- Must hold down Enter to boot Karmic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/451903 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in ubuntu. ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 447518] Re: Cannot boot Karmic BETA on Intel 852GM
It works now! I'm sorry for not thinking of this before, but I tested the latest daily build and it worked just fine. I also had this in Intrepid, so I'm glad to see it gone. I've changed the status to "Fix Released" - sorry for the noise. -- Cannot boot Karmic BETA on Intel 852GM https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/447518 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg-server in ubuntu. ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
