[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 864123] Re: libpciaccess0:386 is uninstallable on amd64
libpciaccess0 is not a multiarch binary package, so libpciaccess0:i386 cannot be installed with libpciaccess0 (native). This basically breaks i386 compatibility for amd64, as ia32libs indirectly depends on libpciaccess0:i386. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to libpciaccess in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/864123 Title: libpciaccess0:386 is uninstallable on amd64 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libpciaccess/+bug/864123/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

But I have not yet encountered my original problem after the last update of plymouth (X dying far (even hours) into a session when I hit enter), so this may in fact be fixed. Instead, gdm now dies reliably when I hit enter for the first time during that boot (which is new). Does plymouth show a graphical logo or do you see Ubuntu 10.04 written in text? Neither. I do not use splash as a boot option, as mentioned earlier in… this bug. Marc -- _ _Marc A. [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 529230] [NEW] X server crashes when enter key is pressed
Public bug reported: k...@isis:~$ lsb_release -rd Description:Ubuntu lucid (development branch) Release:10.04 k...@isis:~$ dpkg -l xserver-xorg-core | egrep -e ^i ii xserver-xorg-core 2:1.7.5-1ubuntu1 Xorg X server - core server Sometimes the X server crashes when I press the enter key.
