[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 317094] Re: meta bug to collect lshal touchscreen info

2010-01-23 Thread Marc Savelsberg
Last week I tried the touch-base driver (www.touch-base.com) and with a
lot of help from their support, I managed to get the eTurboTouch
(22b9:0008) on my Medion (Akoya P4010) working. Couldn't hold out on
this. Attached is their driver that did it for me.

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 317094] Re: meta bug to collect lshal touchscreen info

2010-01-09 Thread Marc Savelsberg
Here's my lshal.out. and lsusb. I have a eTurboTouch screen (in Medion
Akoya P4010) and tried to use the TurboTouch (Linux) drivers from their
site. Still no touch response whatsoever.

lsusb:
Bus 004 Device 002: ID 04f2:0618 Chicony Electronics Co., Ltd
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 002 Device 003: ID 04f2:b1a0 Chicony Electronics Co., Ltd
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 003 Device 002: ID 22b9:0008 eTurboTouch Technology, Inc.
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub

I have a /dev/usb/hiddev1 that at least give output when I cat it and
touch the screen. Otherwise I am still in the dark to find a solution.
