[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1041916] Re: Touchpad of Fujitsu LifeBook AH532 not recognized

2012-11-15 Thread Michael Nagel
I have a Lifebook AH532 here as well, I use 12.04.1 with no 3rd party
repos/ppa whatever.

xinput --list
shows:
PS/2 Generic Mouse

and the trackpad works just fine, even though it is not recognized in the way
described above.
could you explain what the problems/symptoms are with the default setup?

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 557810] Re: X system crash after user change

2010-07-03 Thread Michael Nagel
I cannot reproduce the problem with a fresh install of lucid. The
problem did occur with a system I upgraded from intrepid (I think it was
intrepid) but does no longer occur with the fresh install. The hardware
was unchanged except for the harddisk but I do not think that should
matter. There have been various changes to the configuration files in
/etc/ however.

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 294972] Re: MASTER: xorg high cpu usage, general system sluggishness

2009-12-13 Thread Michael Nagel
i am running karmic + radeon graphics card.
when only one user is logged in everything works as expected.

as soon as i start a guest session or log in a second user the system begins to
behave sluggish and xorg cpu usage rises.
when this second user starts firefox the system gets unusable and xorg hogs the
cpu completely.

am i affected by this bug or should i open a new report? is there any
further information i should provide?

i am running an up-to-date karmic and experienced the problem (bad
graphic performance and the glxinfo error) described here. removing
xorg-driver-fglrx and rebooting solved the problem. should i report a
new bug / reopen this one?
