[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1998001] Re: Missing tests from libdrm-tests
@Brian Once the archive is frozen this is not entirely trivial anymore as the command-not-found indexfile is stored in the now frozen archive mirror. It seems the easiest way to fix is: * uploading a higher version in the -updates pocket should fix the problem automatically, the database code (CommandNotFound/db/creator.py:_parse_single_commands_file()) should discard the content of older versions. There are some useful ways to control what commands are visible from the pkg, you could use "X-Cnf-Ignore-Commands: kms-universal-planes" on the "libdrm-tests" binary package stanza (see what-is-python for an example) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to libdrm in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1998001 Title: Missing tests from libdrm-tests To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/command-not-found/+bug/1998001/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 422202] Re: [P4M900] Laptop TFT flickers after wake up from S3 sleep
Thanks for your bugreport. The ubuntu-sponsors team is subscribed to this bugreport. However its not clear to me what actually needs sponsoring in this case. The only patch atachment I can see is: panel_unify.patch (4.9 KiB, text/plain) (from comment #7). But in comment #8 and #10 Gabor reports no changes with the patch or the latest openchrome. I unsubscribe ubuntu-sponsors for now, please re-subscribe when there is a working patch/debdiff. -- [P4M900] Laptop TFT flickers after wake up from S3 sleep https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/422202 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-openchrome in ubuntu. ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 677129] Re: Please merge xterm 266-1 (main) from debian unstable (main)
Thanks for the xterm merge! I have two questions: 1. xterm-266/debian/gbp.conf is modified but that is not documented in the changelog 2. The debian/changelog file also mentions: Remove setgid bit from the xterm binary (LP: #616100) but I can not find in the debdiff where that is done. (the original debdiff is here for this bug is here: http://launchpadlibrarian.net/53489120/xterm_261-1ubuntu3.debdiff) Could you please check if these questions ? In the meantime I will unsubscribe ubuntu-sponsors as I would like to clarify this before a new version is uploaded. The problem is that the package xserver-xorg-video-v4l is demoted from main to universe. Apt will try to find a solution for the xserver problem by upgrading to the latest xserver abi (because of the breaks). But it can't find one because there is no newer version of xserver-xorg- video-v4l available. The best fix I can think of currently is a explict: Package: xserver-xorg-core Conflicts: xserver-xorg-video-v4l ( 1:0.2.0-4ubuntu1) to ensure the upgrade works. Another way is to use Package: xserver-xorg-core Conflicts: xserver-xorg-video-6 (but that is a rather strong statement, though it will help the resolver to deal with the situation). -- 10.04 - 10.10 upgrade fails: pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks: Holding Back xserver-xorg-video-nouveau rather than change xorg-video-abi-8.0 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/614993 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to libdrm in ubuntu. ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 570634] Re: immediate logout of the gnome session after hardy - lucid upgrade (inside kvm)
** Description changed: After a hardy - lucid cdrom only upgrade I get sometimes thrown out of the gnome-session on login in my kvm test environment. It happens very quickly, maybe after 1-2s, nothing is visible at this point other than the background. - I added --debug to gnome-session but did not get any traces, apport is runing but shows no crash in /var/crash. Nothing unusual in the Xorg.0.log, When running compiz under ltrace it seems to stop always at the same call. This may be a red-herring though, but its the best clue I have currently. - --- + I added --debug to gnome-session but did not get any traces, apport is runing but shows no crash in /var/crash but there is one in the Xorg.0.log.
