[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1437051] [NEW] Keyboard not detected ThinkPad Helix
Public bug reported: Brand new ThinkPad Helix with docking keyboard (part number 20CGCTO1WW) Keyboard works fine in Windows and in Grub, but is not detected whatsoever in Ubuntu. (I've also tried Ubuntu MATE and Mint with the same result.) I did find /dev/input/by-path/platform-i8042-serio-0-event-kbd which looks like it might be the correct device. It is a link to /dev/input/event3. Running an hd and an evtest on that device yields no results, while it does give results for a USB keyboard. xinput -list ⎡ Virtual core pointer id=2[master pointer (3)] ⎜ ↳ Virtual core XTEST pointerid=4[slave pointer (2)] ⎜ ↳ ITE Tech. [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 610582] Re: Can't set monitors
OK, now I have video on the USB attached monitor. It is only running at 800x600. The Monitors dialog doesn't show anything higher than that. How can I get it to 1280 x 1024 (native for that monitor)? My current xorg.conf is attached (as xorg.conf.try2). ** Attachment added: xorg.conf.try2 http://launchpadlibrarian.net/52735716/xorg.conf.try2 -- Can't set monitors https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/610582 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in ubuntu. ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
