I no longer have this device. I had to return it since I couldn't make
it work.

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1437051] [NEW] Keyboard not detected ThinkPad Helix

2015-03-26 Thread Mitch Claborn
Public bug reported:

Brand new ThinkPad Helix with docking keyboard (part number 20CGCTO1WW)
Keyboard works fine in Windows and in Grub, but is not detected whatsoever in
Ubuntu. (I've also tried Ubuntu MATE and Mint with the same result.)

I did find /dev/input/by-path/platform-i8042-serio-0-event-kbd which
looks like it might be the correct device. It is a link to
/dev/input/event3. Running an hd and an evtest on that device yields
no results, while it does give results for a USB keyboard.

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 610582] Re: Can't set monitors

2010-07-30 Thread Mitch Claborn
OK, now I have video on the USB attached monitor. It is only running at
800x600. The Monitors dialog doesn't show anything higher than that.
How can I get it to 1280 x 1024 (native for that monitor)?

My current xorg.conf is attached (as xorg.conf.try2).
