[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1181651] Re: ldconfig problem with 64-bit nvidia driver packages
This issue appeared for me after upgrading to 14.04. I had some driver issues after the upgrade and had to reinstall them. After that, steam gave me the no direct glx error and games would not start. The procedure described solved the issue. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to nvidia-graphics-drivers in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1181651 Title: ldconfig problem with 64-bit nvidia driver packages To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers/+bug/1181651/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1029265] Re: X server sometimes crashes after sleep

I'll try to find my exact hardware: $ lspci | grep VGA 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation N10 Family Integrated Graphics Controller $ cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | grep Chipset ... [ 51567.553] (II) intel(0): Integrated Graphics Chipset: Intel(R) Pineview GM ... So it seems I have an Intel Pineview GM. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg-server in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1029265 Title: X server sometimes crashes after sleep To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/1029265/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
