Public bug reported: Description:Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS Release:12.04 i tried to install the proprietary drivers for my nvidia graphics card on my fresh installed Lubuntu 12.04. i had the same problem on Lubuntu 12.04. Somehow binutils was installed, but ld wasn't.
