[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1845801] Re: [nvidia] Automatic login fails and then all subsequent logins fail. Killing gnome-session-binary fixes it, or just not using automatic login.

2020-04-23 Thread Pablo Catalina
I installed Ubuntu 20.04 5 days ago (using the daily iso) and works fine
with Quadro P3200 Mobile and default proprietary drivers installed.

I installed it setting up the user with autologon from the installer.

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 633179] Re: package fglrx 2:8.723.1-0ubuntu4 failed to install/upgrade: fglrx kernel module failed to build after upgrade to 10.10

2010-09-09 Thread Pablo Catalina
I tried to install Ubuntu Maverik, when I try to install the ati drivers from
repository, it doesn't compile the kernel modules. So I try to install the
latest version from ati web page. It compile if I run:
sudo ./ati-driver-installer-10-8-x86.x86_64.run --buildpkg Ubuntu/maverick

So the deb packages was made OK, and installed succesfully. The kernel
module loads ok, but when the X module for fglrx doesn't load correctly,
so I can't startx with the fglrx module.
