There is some dependency, xorg radeon intel drivers needs new version
of libdrm and radeon driver needs new version of mesa for glamor
support... And when I updated only intel xorg driver it did not
worked... Thats what I tested.

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 458206] Re: [patch] Please add support for new keyboard

2011-04-04 Thread Pali
Sorry for late responce. Currently I do not have phisical access to
desktop PC with this keyboard (only with ssh, but still it is hard to
test xkb).

1. I remember that on keyboard is not any logo. So I do not know vendor of this
keyboard.
2. I do not know xkb properly, so I do not want to rewriting patch (without
access to this PC). You have more experiences with xkb, so you may correctly
rewrite this patch :)

When is deadline for resolving bugs in natty? Maybe I find time for
testing xkb on this PC.

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 538072] [NEW] Separate xvmc and vdpau from nvidia-current to other package

2010-03-12 Thread Pali
Public bug reported:

nvidia-current provide binary vdpau library for accelerated video
playback. But vdpau is supported only on GeForce 8800 (and up). So for
older graphic cards vdpau library is not needed (On 6600 GT doesnt
work). It is possible to separate vdpau to other (sub)package? So user
can uninstall vdpau if it doesnt need.

And there are same with xvmc library. This nvidia xvmc library works
only on old GeForce graphic cards (f. e. 6600), so users with new cards
doesnt have installed this library. It is possible to separate xvmc to
other deb package?

** Affects: nvidia-graphics-drivers (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New
