[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1155327] Re: skype crashed with SIGSEGV in malloc@plt()

2013-05-02 Thread Peter Antoniac
For me the latest today (skype_4.1.0.20.0-0ubuntu0.13.04.2_amd64.deb)
did the trick. It works now without any LD tricks.

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 585133] Re: X segfault when switching to consle

2010-05-24 Thread Peter Antoniac
i looked shortly into it. It seems that it is a memory allocation in the intel
video driver.
(II) AIGLX: Resuming AIGLX clients after VT switch
(II) intel(0): No memory allocations

This happens when you swith the modes. Wonder if it is caused by the
kernel itself. Will investigate...

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 227183] Re: no calibration tool

2010-02-23 Thread Peter Antoniac
Hi,
Thanks for the interest in fixing Ubuntu. May I ask you ASK (from comment #47)
how is this related to calibration? Can you find another bug report related to
penmount that discusses the restart issue? If there is no other related bug,
please file a new one.

Thanks,
Peter

DMA02, regarding your post #44, please make it as a question. I can
suggest then that you could run a cut /dev/ttySx and see what is the
output when you touch the panel.

That rotation issue is an old problem. Did you try to use the
calibration results with the ubuntu driver after?

Thank you for your reports. To figure out the culprit, might be a good
idea to start from console (without KDM) and login as user and fire up
startx and see if everything works well? Thanks!

2009-10-26 Thread Peter Antoniac
Checked the jaunty on the karmic. It has some big issues with the new XINPUT...
Hard to debug for me now, but I will spend some times in the future trying to
figure out what goes wrong. I even added the void driver and still has issues...

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 134401] Re: [needs-packaging] add support for fujitsu tablet input device

2009-10-26 Thread Peter Antoniac
Ok, I had to remove the xserver-xorg-input-evtouch to make it work
better... The package should have a conflict with that driver otherwise
it hangs the xinput in quite a strange way...

Hmm, I guess based on comment 40 we should go back to work again over
this issues. Where did you get the driver from? Was it packaged by
Ubuntu?
