The work around is to revert back to a previous version, as said Christopher. Hi, Lately, the bug occurred after I had switched from another user and without having suspended the computer. It may hence not be linked to the suspend mode. I am still waiting for instructions from Timo regarding the tests he want me to perform... Me again. I am now using kdm and no change. Hi Timo, I am coming back to you in regards to this bug. For the last weeks, the crash occured only once or twice a week, but lately, it happens like 3 times a day and it is really annoying. It seems to me that it happens usually shortly after a resume of the machine. I am still waiting for indications about the tests I am supposed to do. Indeed, a bug report already existed for the bug affecting NVIDIA card (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics- drivers/+bug/973096) and as explained in my first message, I am not using NVIDIA card (as well as many other users affected by this problem).
