Has this problem been reported to AMD? [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 781402] Re: Ubuntu 11.04 / Unity freezing when screen is 'woken up'
I'm dealing with the same problem, it's really annoying, I dont remember that happening in previous versions. At first I thought it was something to do with screensaver. But I disabled it and still got the same problem. Mine is an Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 2,93GHz.
