[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 681945] [NEW] Xorg.log flooded with specific Xalloc warning message about 0 size memory

2010-11-26 Thread aka Gour gi
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xorg

my Xorg.log is being flooded by the following message :
Warning: Xalloc: requesting unpleasantly large amount of memory: 0 bytes.

I use nvdia drivers in Ubuntu 10.10.
I don't really noticed anything unusual in my system other than these messages
and the fact that the mouse sometimes send left clicks very quickly and so are
recognised as double clicks (but the mouse bug may be a hardware problem
really).

If you need further info please ask

to be working OK now.
i'm changing the status to incomplete

i probably will test with a daily image to see if i can reproduce this.

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 501598] Re: [lucid] kernel mode setting kms broken, no gdm, with intel on eeepc 1000h

2009-12-30 Thread aka Gour gi
i used the xorg-edgers ppa and the problem is solved.
i used the apport-collect to provide the needed files in case anyone wants to
find the cause of the bug in the original packages in lucid.
i'm staying with the xorg-edgers stuff for now :P
should my report marked as fix commited ?
