[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 413311] Re: when switch computers using kvm switch ubuntu logs out

2009-08-31 Thread benrboone
** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: gdm

When using a KVM switch and switching computers when the key combination
of scroll lock +scroll lock + (computer number) enter It switches
computers, However on every second switch, the computer running Ubuntu
9.10 alpha 3 logs out. This is very irritating because all open
applications are log off and all data is lost. On Ubuntu 9.04 this was
not a problem. However sinces doing a new install of Ubuntu 9.10 alpha
  3 this behaviour has started.

I have tried to do a reinstall but the behaviour is still the same. I
am not sure if this is the right package but the behaviour seems to have
started with the new log in screen process.

  Description: Ubuntu karmic (development branch)
  Release: 9.10
+
+ have attached lspci-vvnn and xorglog
