the issue is not KDE related. I just added fglrx to Ubuntu Natty, and going into fullscreen and exiting made X hang. This is with hw acceleration. dmesg from the hang appended. After installing fglrx through jockey, the situation is thus. I can run flash videos in full screen with hw acceleration in Chrome, And exit them normally. I can run them in firefox, but upon exit, i get an allout lockup of X again. Due to a mistake I made, i can't get back to KDE from tty1. Weird, this time I did get Firefox to run the flash video fullscreen. After I exited fullscreen, I got the flash code written all over my desktop, burned into it, so to speak.
