[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 575092] Re: [Geforce4 MX440 / nForce2 / NV18] Screen flickering during start-up and while logged in
marked 575227 as duplicate. here is the other description: with a clean installed lucid on a hp dx 6050 desktop computer i get a somehow shifted screen: with a resolution of 1024x768 the left part of the display area is missing and gets displayed at the right corner. also the bottom parts is missing, but this doesn't get displayed at the top. instead the first pixel from the top seem to be repeated ~30times. (see photo). making screenshots doesn't show this behaviour. anyway this doesn't seem to be related to a misconfigured monitor because the mouse has it's active point in the vertical middle and horizontal left of the mouse-icon. when running xrandx the screen gets blanked for a short time. -- [Geforce4 MX440 / nForce2 / NV18] Screen flickering during start-up and while logged in https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/575092 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-nouveau in ubuntu. ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
