yesterday's updates have not changed anything at all for my situation. But I'm quite hopeless to find a further solution. Does anyone of you guys have a hint where to search for the origin of the problem? virtual line removed, but no changes. the bug appears in lucid, not in karmic. Is the added tag additional? As I have undertaken further tests, I'm doubting whether it is a problem of the xserver and the Gnome Configuration, or whether it is primarily a problem of the ATI Driver. Using another computer with a different graphic device doesn't show these problems. Another fact: The problem of the twinkling contours is increasing from left to right on the screen.
