Public bug reported:
My desktop seems pretty stable but i can readily crash it.
Steps to reproduce (on my system)
try to click and drag icon in the unity launcher (attempting to reorder
icons).
first the unity launcher dock starts to flicker and shortly after the entire
desktop flickers between
a black screen and the desktop screen. This is followed but the display jumping
around and often
graphical corruption.
The mouse pointer can be moved around fine as normal - but you cannot
click on anything.
At this point i need to reboot the system.
I have also had the above happen when trying to install programs through
software centre.
As of now i am unsure if this is a bug with X or a bug with unity and im not
sure where i should be looking
to find logs or any indication of the source of the issue.
Im willing to report debug info it anyone can tell me what i should be
looking for.
Feedback appreciated
