[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1865379] Re: Raspberry Pi 4 fails to wake at login prompt
Hello, I have not forgotten about this. 1.) Does not exist. 2.) I've already reported. I will have to apply the patch outlined in 3.) and cause the crash again. However, this system uses an SD card, and the first system had a corrupted boot partition after crashing a series of times. This crash might prevent me from collecting the data the crash creates. I will give it a shot. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg-server in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1865379 Title: Raspberry Pi 4 fails to wake at login prompt To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1865379/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1865379] Re: Raspberry Pi 4 fails to wake at login prompt
apport information ** Tags added: reproducible ubuntu ** Description changed: Raspberry Pi 4 running Ubuntu server 20.04 Focal (and perhaps 19.10 Eoan) fails to wake from sleep when no user is logged in and the screen is sitting at the gdm login prompt. This has happened on two different systems. One system uses the official RPi 7 inch touchscreen via (LCD DSI Display Connector). The other system has a 10 inch non-touchscreen from SunFounder via (Micro HDMI). Nothing wakes the Pi: Keyboard, mouse, or touchscreen. After a user logs in and the screen locks on sleep the system wakes just fine with a lock screen. [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1666994] Re: Screen flicker on Dell XPS 13 9360 Developer Edition
I tested the current live image you suggested via USB drive. I had to enable additional package repos and install google-chrome-stable. I did not add the Dell Xenial/Zesty repos, as I was not sure those are required with the newer Zesty kernel. I also could not add the Dell Xenial/Zesty repos and reboot to have them properly loaded. The USB drive has some file persistence, but not when dealing with system files. Any package installs/updates were lost upon reboot. I did not experience the issue running the current Zesty live image, but I'm also not sure the latest intel drivers were being used. If live image customization is something you think I should use, I can go that route. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1666994 Title: Screen flicker on Dell XPS 13 9360 Developer Edition To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1666994/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
