Hi,
- Whenever I boot my ubuntu, at the moment when splash wioth ubuntu logo
- should appear, I am taken to console login screen. When I log in and
- then do startx, Compiz loads, but without unity and the performance is
- poor. I can start unity from the terminal again, but the performance is
- still poor. Performance ggoes back to normal when I execute metacity
- --replace to switch compiz to metacity.
