[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1222791] Re: 1002:94c3 (EE) [mi] EQ overflowing. Additional events will be discarded until existing events are processed

2014-08-30 Thread linas
Please also see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-lts-
raring/+bug/1097178

These Xorg errors seem to be a side-effect of X hanging in
uninteruptible sleep, in the kernel: i.e. a nouveau kernel module issue.
At least for me. See the bug I just quoted for details.

The bug is still happening in Saucy. Not just with radon though, intel
too.

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1222791] Re: 1002:94c3 (EE) [mi] EQ overflowing. Additional events will be discarded until existing events are processed

2013-09-12 Thread Saha
Christopher, unfortunately this bug appears not very often and I cannot
reproduce it at will. Say after last reboot there are no problems (but I
turn off many services like update center, may be there is some kind of
connection with the problem).

What about video driver... - that was not a question, sorry for my
English :)

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1222791] Re: 1002:94c3 (EE) [mi] EQ overflowing. Additional events will be discarded until existing events are processed

2013-09-11 Thread Christopher M. Penalver
Saha, regarding your comments
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1222791/comments/8 :
I tried latest development release and there were no problems during about 1
hour of OS activity. I hope I try to test it longer in a few days.

It would seem the issue is resolved in Saucy. What was the frequency of
this problem in Raring?

What about video driver...

Unfortunately, I don't understand your question. What about it?

Saha, could you please confirm this issue exists with the latest
development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ . Please ensure no third
party PPAs are enabled for this test. If the issue remains, could you
please run the following command in the development release from a

gather and attach updated debug information to this report:
