severe, compiz hangs frequently after resuming from suspend or the screensaver. Very similar to bug here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/966744 that is supposedly resolved, however I am using the Intel i915 driver for my intel card. This happens intermittently. Sometimes upon resume, all I see is a black screen and the cursor. the mouse and keyboard respond (the mouse moves) but nothing changes. Switching to console and back doesn't fix it. Killing Compiz also does not fix the issue. Further, if one has password lock disabled on resume the user will be stuck with a frozen display of whatever was last shown on the screen before suspend. The mouse cursor still changes as you hover over various elements but the display is frozen solid. One can switch to another TTY via ctrl+alt+F1 but killing the X session is the only way to get back to the desktop.
