2018-02-18 Thread Titus
Dear Christopher,

The problem was solved, and I don't remember what I had to do to solve
it. At the moment I run Ubuntu 17.10 without issues.

Kind regards,

Titus

Titus, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better.

1) After the crash, are there crash files in /var/crash?

2) Did this start to happen after an update? If so, which specifically?

3) To see if this is resolved in your release, could you please update
your HWE stack as per https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/LTSEnablementStack
and advise to the results?

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1578951] Re: Libreoffice is crashing causing the session to be booted back to the login screen

2016-10-26 Thread Lorenzo
It worked only for some time, now (after activating OpenGl renderer) X doesn't
crash but Libreoffice exit some seconds after showing CSV import window. On
console I receive:
intel_do_flush_locked failed: Bad address

** Attachment added: "window showed (with some glitches that occurs with OpenGl
renderer)"

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1578951] Re: Libreoffice is crashing causing the session to be booted back to the login screen

2016-10-25 Thread Lorenzo
I could always replicate the crash opening a CSV file. Activating OpenGl
renderer is a workaround.

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1578951] Re: Libreoffice is crashing causing the session to be booted back to the login screen

2016-10-03 Thread Mark Summerfield
I also use LibreOffice:

Version: 5.1.4.2
Build ID: 1:5.1.4-0ubuntu1
CPU Threads: 8; OS Version: Linux 4.4; UI Render: GL;
Locale: en-GB (en_GB.UTF-8)

When I used the UI Render: default sometimes when I started LibreOffice
it would crash the window system and return me to the login screen. I've
now switched to the GL renderer in the hope that this solves the
problem, but it is too early to say if it does or not.
