[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 2003581] Re: Mouse keys fails to work after a restart
Thanks for additional info. Well, it was a guess.. Replacing xkeyboard-config with gnome-shell, since I think this is a gnome-shell feature. ** No longer affects: im-config (Ubuntu) ** Package changed: xkeyboard-config (Ubuntu) => gnome-shell (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xkeyboard-config in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2003581 Title: Mouse keys fails to work after a restart To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/2003581/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 2003581] Re: Mouse keys fails to work after a restart
This comment is a guess, and I may be completely wrong, but I wonder if this happens in Ubuntu on Xorg only. If so, it may be related to the fact that ibus wasn't always automatically enabled at the start of the session. That issue was fixed in 22.04 via bug #2007379. So, @nix, it would be interesting to know if the issue is still present after you have upgraded the im-config package to version 0.50-2ubuntu22.04.1. ** Also affects: im-config (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: im-config (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xkeyboard-config in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2003581 Title: Mouse keys fails to work after a restart To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/2003581/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 2003581] Re: Mouse keys fails to work after a restart
nixx, belatedly moving your bug report to the packages that you inferred might be applicable to your bug report. This will bring your issue to the attention of Ubuntu's Desktop team. Filing bugs against 'launchpad' will seldom reach those that can fix the problems that you might be experiencing with your Ubuntu installation. ** Package changed: ubuntu => xkeyboard-config (Ubuntu) ** Also affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags added: jammy -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xkeyboard-config in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2003581 Title: Mouse keys fails to work after a restart To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/2003581/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
