We're closing this bug since it is has been some time with no response from the original reporter. However, if the issue still exists please feel free to reopen with the requested information. Also, if you could, please test against the latest development version of Ubuntu, since this confirms the bug is one we may be able to pass upstream for help. ** Changed in: xorg-server (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete = Expired -- [jaunty] Xephyr fails with D-Bus AccessDenied https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/325706 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg-server in ubuntu. ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 325706] Re: [jaunty] Xephyr fails with D-Bus AccessDenied
Seems to work here, but I don't think the bug is properly solved. The problem is still the same: D-Bus configuration doesn't allow for more than 3 X displays (:0, :1 and :2), so others will fail. But maybe I'm missing something, because here Xephyr is on :11 and it works... -- [jaunty] Xephyr fails with D-Bus AccessDenied https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/325706 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg-server in ubuntu. ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
