Any updates on this? Hello. I solved this issue performing a downgrade of the jaunty's drivers, I installed the intrepid's xserver-xorg packages. I changed the repositories of Jaunty by the repositories of Intrepid. Then I removed the xserver-xorg, xserver-xorg-core, xserver-xorg-video-tdfx and related packages with apt-get. After this, I did sudo apt-get clean and I installed again these packages from the intrepid and all worked ok. This is the tdfx package : aptitude show xserver-xorg-video-tdfx Paquete: xserver-xorg-video-tdfx Estado: instalado Instalado automáticamente: sí Versión: 1:1.4.0-1build2 Prioridad: opcional Sección: x11 Desarrollador: Ubuntu Core Developers ubuntu-devel-disc...@lists.ubuntu.com Tamaño sin comprimir: 164k Depende de: libc6 (= 2.1.3), xserver-xorg-core (= 2:1.4.99.906-2ubuntu2) Tiene conflictos con: xserver-xorg-driver-tdfx Reemplaza: xserver-xorg ( 6.8.2-35), xserver-xorg-driver-tdfx Proporciona: xserver-xorg-video-4 Descripción: X.Org X server -- tdfx display driver This package provides the driver for 3dfx Voodoo video cards and their derivatives. I also retained this packages for avoiding further updates when I returned to the repositories of Jaunty. Until now all worked ok and I have not found still any issue.
