Can't tell, as I've just upgraded to Lucid and now can't get past the
login screen without going to low-graphics mode :(

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 369821] Re: [Jaunty] Matrox G550 dual-screen blank screen: possible X crash

2009-09-24 Thread Bryce Harrington
Hi terry-shuttleworths,

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in
it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with
the latest development release of Ubuntu? (ISO CD images are available from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/)

If it remains an issue, could you also attach a new /var/log/Xorg.0.log?
Thanks in advance.

[This is an automated message. Apologies if it has reached you
inappropriately; please just reply to this message indicating so.]

2009-09-24 Thread Terry S
Hi there

I found out that the issue was down to the Wacom tablet config in my
Xorg.conf. Lord knows why it was throwing the video, but when I
chopped out everything from Xorg.conf and added in each bit one at a
time, the Wacom config was the culprit!
