SysReq keys won't work , hard reboot needed. So I logged in in recovery mode and reinstalled xorg without the ppa. Then I switched back to radeon driver and it worked. Actually, I was able to fix the problem by installing another version of X: I added the ppa http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-x-swat/xserver-no-backfill/ubuntu (the corresponding website is https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat/+archive/xserver-no-backfill) to my repository and installed the provided x-server.
