I've tested this on my own fujitsu t4410, which is working fine now. Able to use pressure sensitive drawing and erasing using stylus and eraser devices in gimp. It did not use to work out of the box, so I think this got fixed within the past year or two. Going to assume yours is fixed as well. I still have this issue on my wife's T4215 which was originally installed with 9.10 (standard Ubuntu desktop amd64) and upgraded to 10.04 via 'update-manager -d' ... here is the lshal and xorg log from the wifes machineit is exhibiting the same behavior as previously stated in other posts. Thank you for reporting this issue with wacom-tools, we are migrating it to the new xf86-input-wacom package which has replaced it in the development version of Ubuntu. This would be a good point for you to re-test this issue against the new package to see if is still occurring. If not, you can mark it as Fix Released in Launchpad. I report what may be the same bug. I'll run these two commands: sudo hal-set-property --udi /org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/pnp_WACf004_serial_platform_0 --key info.product --string stylus sudo hal-set-property --udi /org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/pnp_WACf004_serial_platform_0_subdev --key info.product --string eraser And then: xsetwacom list I expect to see both stylus and eraser listed, but I only see eraser. Same problem. (toshiba m750) Everything worked fine in jaunty. Tried downgrading the wacom and xserver-input-wacom to jaunty version - no effect. I never had problems with my T4215 in 9.04. I am seeing this exact behavior in 9.10 however. (see http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1280564highlight=tablet+PC). I'm running ubuntu 9.04 on my fujitsu T4215. My pen only works intermittently as well. The only difference is that mine will toggle from nothing working, to just the eraser working, to everything working fine after every restart.
