Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg
Fonts in a number of programs are broken, though still readable. I'm using the default Ubuntu jaunty install, nothing fancy. http://i39.tinypic.com/1jlydc.jpg http://i44.tinypic.com/jz9ox5.jpg Programs where this commonly occurs are the desktop, gnome-terminal, pidgin, and firefox. Xchat seems to be immune, for reasons I don't understand. In some places it's noticeably worse than others. Occasionally there are large black lines running through the fonts. Rebooting does not make the problem disappear.
