The original bug submitter reported that this is fixed.  Carlos, Tiago,
if you are still seeing problems please open *new* bug reports using
'ubuntu-bug', so that we have full information about your system.

If you're not seeing this problem anymore, it's likely that you were
seeing bug #439138, which was fixed in cryptsetup
2:1.0.6+20090405.svn49-1ubuntu6.

For me, booting with the old kernel 2.6.31-12 instead of the 2.6.31-13
solves the problem

I'm getting this issue now. My Xorg is taking up 100% CPU. This is as of
10 minutes ago. (9th Oct, 19:20 UTC)

This is making my laptop barely usable.

the fix doesn't work for me, i have made an update today and after
restarting(for the update) this bug occured again!

i wanted to post this bug, then i've seen, that this could be the same
bug, now it looks like, the informations i've collected via "ubuntu-bug"
is gone, what can i do? Or have you resieved my data any way?

A proper reboot with todays updates seems to have made this problem
vanish. Xorg is back to 4-8% CPU time even with composer enabled.
