Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg
The screen flickers/jumps both when Ubuntu is booting and in the OS itself. It looks like the screen image jumps a cm up and then down again every ½ second. Sometimes it helps rebooting and sometimes not (it doesn't happen every time I boot) . It also looks like it stops when the CPU works hard on something. I also found the bug #445379 talking about something simulare, but there isn't a lot of info in the report. I also get black screen for about 2 sec. and then its back to normal.
