Getting a bit desperate now guys! Is anyone (developer staff or volunteer) looking at the O/S via 'apport-collect'? how does it work? I have looked up sites for re-installing and have found a suggestion to enter command: 'sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh -a' Is this a good option to rectify the fault? Sorry Terry, I guess I was not clear earlier, the command run should be 'apport-collect 497179'. I supposed to let you know that but I guess missed it. Can you run the correct command so that the required information can be added to this report. The developer should now be able to access the system to work on it.
