Description: Ubuntu 9.10 00:00.0 Host bridge: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GME Express Memory Controller Hub (rev 03) 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GME Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03) 00:02.1 Display controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS/GME, 943/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03) When running 'xrandr' the wrong screen size is reported: Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1024 x 600, maximum 4096 x 4096 VGA1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) LVDS1 connected 1024x600+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 451mm x 113mm 1024x600 60.0*+ 640x480 59.9 The size should actually be 195mm x 113mm This will make a program like Moovida look terrible.
