At this moment on this computer installed nVidia driver instead of nouveau. There's no indication of any problem in those logs; the kernel seems perfectly happy, and the Xorg.0.log doesn't seem to have anything out of the ordinary. Perhaps there's something in other log files which the apport-collect hook doesn't grab - could you reproduce this again and attach all the /var/log/Xorg.* files, and possibly anything matching /var/log/kdm* (I'm not sure what logs KDM generates). Could you please reproduce this bug (ie: try to log in to a second user) and then run “apport-collect 548784” in a terminal?
