Confirming this bug during the boot time after that there is no more a black horizontal bar near the top screen, the top part should actully be the bottom part of the screen). I also get the error message "mountall: could not connect to Plymouth". When I add "sisfb" to /etc/modules and use "video=sisfb" added to the kernel parameters I get a normal non-divided screen and instead the message "could not write bytes: Broken pipe" - and no Plymouth bootscreen at all.
