I have same problem – changing keyboard (USB instead of PS/2) does not help (also tried modprobe usbhid and changing mouse settings to lefthand – nothing helped). Mouse: A4tech K5-52D OSCAR I have two computers – on both there is 10.10. On laptop mouse works perfectly. On desktop the left button is always pressed. Laptop is clearly installed and desktop was upgraded from 10.4 (but it probably does not matter). I found out that it is due to the intel soundcard. My bug (663203) is the same.
