Sadly the same happens with Live CD NattyNarwhal - Alpha3 - Kubuntu. But this time i was able to get some logs, booting with Linux Mint 10 KDE Live CD, and it shows a GPU lockup - switching to software fbcon. I have tested my Live-CD for errors, there are none. Unfortunately i cant even get an Console with Alt+F1 like nachokb when my System freezes (maybe with Ubuntu 11.10 - if Xorg doesnot run as root ... :-) ) And for the record, 10.04 booted fine one my system, and i think they used nouveau as well. Has anyone checked their Live CD for errors? BTW most probably Nouveau does not yet support GT240 [1].
