It was reading the EDID for the absent TV that was slow. Should be
fixed.

  Hi
  I've noticed a fairly long startup time.
  Looking at Xorg.0.log I notice a lot of entries about EDID quirk. 
  I think the edid data from the inbuilt monitor is in a different format than 
what the intel video driver is expecting.
  First bug report and quite new to linux so forgive me if something is missing 
or just written the wrong way.
