Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xorg

Problem #1: My monitor, eMachines E182H D, is not detected and thus displays at
the wrong resolution 1024x768 instead of 1366x768.
Problem #2: My monitor is NORMALLY (for instance, in Windows 7) capable of
rendering 1024x768 in a letterboxed state, where the left and right edges of
the screen are empty black space. However, it won't do this with Ubuntu.
Instead, the display is stretched across the entire screen, making everything
look stretched too wide. I.e. the 1024 pixels is stretched across 1366 pixels.
Extremely ugly!

Thanks for the help.

Mike
