[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 741151] Re: Switching between screens turns on Same image on all monitors when closing laptop lid
Rather, sounds like the gnome control tool is not giving you the results you expect. (It listens for the lid event and applies previously saved configuration information.) Since it sounds like you can make it work properly by manually calling xrandr, then it is likely there is just some aspect to gnome-display-property's algorithms that doesn't handle your use case the way you expect. ** Package changed: xorg (Ubuntu) = gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/741151 Title: Switching between screens turns on Same image on all monitors when closing laptop lid ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 741151] Re: Switching between screens turns on Same image on all monitors when closing laptop lid
Moving to the xorg package in Ubuntu, as a first guess; not many bugs normally need to be release-noted, and in any case they should always be investigated as normal bugs on Ubuntu before resorting to a release note. ** Also affects: xorg (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: ubuntu-release-notes Status: New = Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/741151 Title: Switching between screens turns on Same image on all monitors when closing laptop lid ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
